This stunning, fine and impressive vintage necklace has been crafted in 18ct yellow gold with a 22ct yellow gold chain.
The pierced decorated arched frame displays a central array of three impressive individually claw set pear faceted cut rubies, each bearing a claw set modern brilliant round cut diamonds to the nadir, totalling 0.03ct.
This feature formation is flanked on either side with eight further square faceted cut rubies, completing the design.
Either end of the anterior setting features rounded ribbed terminals incorporating a circular ring loop.
The feature setting suspends from a 22ct yellow gold chain, securing to the reverse with a replacement 9ct yellow gold conventional spring-loaded bolt ring fastening; the 22ct gold chain indicates the high quality of the piece.
The reverse of the setting is hallmarked with the 18ct gold mark (750) and the necklace has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as a 22 carat gold chain and 9 carat gold clasp.
This impressive vintage ruby necklace is supplied with an IDGL diamond and gemstone grading card.
The warm tones of the yellow gold and the vibrant rubies make it particularly well suited to evening wear, formal dinners, and special occasions. It pairs beautifully with classic necklines and darker fabrics, allowing the rubies to stand out.
