By purchasing goods from us, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before placing an order.
1.1 ‘Company’, ‘we’, ‘us’, ‘our’: A C Silver Unlimited, trading as AC Silver and Antique Jewellery Store.
1.2 ‘Customer’, ‘you’, ‘your’: Any person purchasing goods from us.
1.3 ‘Goods’ or ‘Products’: Jewellery, silverware, or other goods we sell.
1.4 ‘Site’: Our websites, acsilver.co.uk and antiquejewellery.store.
2.1 By placing an order, you make an offer to purchase Goods from us.
2.2 A contract is formed only when we send you written confirmation of acceptance (for example, an order confirmation email).
2.3 We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order before dispatch if Goods are unavailable, if pricing or description errors are discovered, or if payment cannot be processed.
3.1 We make every effort to ensure that product descriptions and prices are accurate. However, as many of our items are antique or vintage, variations and imperfections should be expected.
3.2 Images are for illustrative purposes only. Colour, tone, and scale may differ due to display settings.
3.3 All Goods are offered subject to availability.
4.1 Complimentary diamond and gemstone grading reports may be supplied with items of jewellery.
4.2 All items are antique, vintage, or second-hand. Stones are generally graded in situ within their original settings. Carat weights are typically determined by measurement, not removal and weighing. Hand-cut antique stones are irregular in shape, so stated weights are approximate unless confirmed otherwise.
4.3 Grading reports may be produced by third-party gemmological laboratories. We accept no liability for the absolute accuracy of such reports.
5.1 Prices are displayed in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable. Delivery charges are shown separately before checkout.
5.2 We accept payment by debit/credit card, direct bank transfer, and other methods displayed at checkout.
5.3 Payment must be received in full before Goods are dispatched.
6.1 Delivery within the UK and internationally is free of charge.
6.2 Orders are normally dispatched the next working day and sent via secure methods such as Royal Mail Special Delivery, DHL, or UPS.
6.3 UK delivery typically takes 2–3 working days; international delivery takes approximately 5–7 working days.
6.4 Goods are fully insured by us in transit up to a value of £30,000. Risk passes to you once Goods are delivered.
6.5 International customers are responsible for all applicable customs duties, taxes, or fees.
7.1 You have a legal right to cancel your contract within 14 days of receiving the Goods without giving any reason.
7.2 You must return Goods in original condition and packaging within 14 days of notifying us of cancellation.
7.3 Unless otherwise agreed, you are responsible for return shipping costs. For UK customers, we may offer complimentary collection at our discretion.
7.4 Refunds will be processed in accordance with our Returns Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
7.5 Layaway purchases are not eligible for return.
8.1 We may agree, at our discretion, to accept staged payments under a layaway arrangement.
8.2 All layaway terms will be confirmed in writing, including amounts and due dates.
8.3 If payments are missed and cannot be resolved, payments made may be held as store credit and the item re-listed for sale.
8.4 Layaway purchases are final and non-refundable.
9.1 All content on the Site, including text, images, logos, and designs, is the property of A C Silver Unlimited or its licensors.
9.2 You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or use any content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.
10.1 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
