This exceptional set of six antique Edwardian shank buttons has been crafted in 9ct yellow gold.
Each hallmarked gold button has a circular form, ornamented with an impressive cast golfing scene depicting a male in full-swing, with a golf course terrain in the background.
The reverse of each antique button is plain and unembellished, apart from the gold fineness hallmark ‘9ct’.
Each impressive piece of antique jewellery is accommodated with a yellow gold split ring.
The components of this exceptional set are fitted to the original hinged leatherette presentation box, with a satin and velvet lined interior and securing with a push fit catch.
NOTE: Due to their large size of 34.6 lignes (34.6 L) it can be determined these shank buttons would typically be used for a coat or jacket; a button is commonly measured in lignes, with 40 lignes equal to 1 inch.
