This stunning, fine and impressive antique sapphire an diamond pendant has been beautifully crafted in platinum.
The drop style pendant displays a feature 1.40ct pear cut blue Basaltic sapphire, claw set to the bottom of the design, surrounded by sixteen pavé set diamonds arranged in a scalloped border.
This antique pendant boasts a pear-shaped terminal that dangles from an articulated linear drop, decorated with collet and pavé set diamonds, in a fusion of Old European, mine, and eight cuts.
At the top of the linear drop lies a stunning 0.17ct square faceted cut sapphire, above a stylised three leaf design ornamented with six pavé set diamonds.
Emanating from the apex sapphire, the necklace setting spreads to both sides, reflecting the same design as the linear drop and joining with the platinum chain, which is attached at the back with a conventional spring-loaded bolt ring fastening.
This stunning antique pendant, designed in a pear shape and adorned with a sapphire, has been thoroughly tested by independent experts using advanced technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and has been validated as platinum.
This sapphire and diamond pendant is supplied with an IDGL diamond and gemstone grading report card, in addition to a feature sapphire report card and certificate supplied by the Gemmological Certification Services, London*.
This platinum sapphire necklace/pendant is fitted to the original hinged leatherette presentation box, with a bespoke velvet and satin lined interior, securing with a push fit catch.
The interior of the cover bears the renowned retailer’s mark ‘By appointment to H. M. The Queen – Goldsmiths & Crown Jewellers, Garrard & Co Ltd, 112. Regent Street. W. 1’.
