This exceptional and rare vintage sapphire necklace has been masterfully crafted in platinum, showcasing the elegance and symmetry of the iconic Art Deco era.
The design emphasises a stylised bow motif, which features a layered, lobed structure complemented by a horizontal line of four channel-set calibre-cut Basaltic sapphires, surrounded by twelve beautifully coordinated baguette-cut diamonds.
Flanking the centerpiece are three articulated sections that graduate on each side, extending the sapphire and diamond design, with each horizontal sapphire segment encased by arched arrangements of baguette-cut diamonds.
Each terminal is accented with a curved collar design, with an emanating single strand of Basaltic sapphires; this sapphire design has been hand-crafted to appear to be intricately threaded through the whole bow design.
Enhancing the design are interlacing scrolls that feature twenty-eight channel-set diamonds, which contribute to the necklace’s balance and brilliance.
The pendant section hangs gracefully from a platinum chain, which is decorated with ten collet-set diamonds, and it fastens at the back with a discreet push-fit clasp. This clasp mirrors the central motif, echoing the sapphire and diamond accents , a true reflection of the meticulous attention to detail and high quality of this piece.
Independently tested using state-of-the-art Niton XL2 Analyzer technology and verified as platinum, this necklace is accompanied by a Gemmological Certification Services (GCS, London) report confirming the sapphires are of Basaltic origin and show no indications of heating, a mark of their natural quality. It is also supplied with an IDGL diamond and gemstone grading report card for the supporting diamonds.
